Artist Biography

Thiago Porraz is a painter and muralist based in Grand Rapids, MI. Always a creative spirit, he fell in love with acrylic painting as a teenager and built his artistic skills in high school art classes and in endless hours spent practicing and learning on his own time. His work blends a realist style with surrealist imagery to depict stories of his own lived experiences. In his paintings, he explores themes of trauma, neurodivergence, and queerness.
