Artist Biography
Jeff Condon, an award-winning full-time artist, has been creating colorful, contemporary, and abstract interiors and landscapes in the Grand Rapids area for decades. The patterns in Jeff’s paintings are a stitching together of things he sees in the land and in the objects around him. A trip to a museum reveals a Chippewa bead pattern that ends up on a hillside drawing. A 1950’s fabric inspires an orchard in bloom. His work is a combination of old and new, line and pattern, color and form.
Together with the encouragement and support of his wife Steph, Jeff has become a staple in the national art festival circuit. Jeff’s latest award was for the 2024 “Pastel 100” in the contemporary category. His BFA is from Kendall College of Art and Design.
